Version 6.43 Released! July 7, 2009 Version 6.43 has been released and is available for download. This is a fairly small release, but includes even more security improvements, an improved XSS scanner, as well as some updates for running demo stores. You can download the upgrade from your account area. Version 6.42 Released and Other Updates July 3, 2009 Version 6.42 has been released. This has a few minor bug fixes for version 6.41 and also includes some additional security updates. We've seen a rash of attacks against older versions of CFWebstore, be sure to visit the CFWebstore Blog for details. While version 6.41 is not known to be vulnerable to this attack, this update includes even more methods of protection against any sort of similar method of attack, so is highly recommended that you perform this upgrade. Version 6.41 Released! April 3, 2009 An update to version 6.40 has been released which addresses a couple issues that were found (shared SSL and PayPal IPN) and also includes the new code for PayFlowPro credit card processing. If you have not upgraded to version 6.40 yet, or have a store using any of these three features, you'll want to download and install this upgrade. The 6.41 update can be accessed by registered version 6 users from your Account area by clicking on the Downloads link. Version 6.40 Released! March 11, 2009 The version 6.40 update for CFWebstore 6 has been released and is available for download. This version includes a number of bug fixes, feature improvements and security updates for PCI Compliance. There are some improvements particularly for servers with their own dedicated SSL and it's recommended that everyone upgrade particularly if they accept credit cards on their site. Please read the release notes included in the documentation directory before upgrading your stores! Also remember, when posting questions/isues to the email list, to be sure to include your CFWebstore version, and ideally include information on your server, CF version and database as well, to help make it easier to diagnose any problems. Be sure to provide as much of the error information as you can, with details on how to reproduce it, a URL to look at if possible, etc. I am still taking suggestions for version 7, which is currently in development, and will have a lot of new features while being a much easier upgrade than version 6 was. I'll be working on it over the next couple months and then beta testing before release. When sending suggestions, the more detail you can include, the better. It can be hard for me sometimes to really get a clear picture of what people are asking for, and why a feature helpful for their own store would be beneficial to add for all. While I certainly do sometimes add features solely because people ask for them (particularly if they aren't hard to do), I tend to look for things that will draw new buyers to the product, and for this release at least, that won't require major reworking of any database tables. The 6.40 update is available through your Account area on cfwebstore.com. Just download the CFWebstore 6.x file again to get this new version. This update will time out in 4 months, so if you are not able to upgrade right away, you may want to download the file during this time period for future use. This update includes an improved SQL injection scanner which has less issues with false positives and runs faster, and also includes some other code improvements and minor bug fixes. Download the update from your Account area. Version 6.31 Released! August 17, 2008 Version 6.31 has been released. This includes the new WYSIWYG editor version (some new features like divs and encoded email links), some bug fixes and some security and error handling updates. Due to the large number of sites being hit by SQL injection attacks, this version has had the error handling and trapping of such attacks beefed up so that pretty much any malformed URL thrown at your site should be handled automatically and not generate error messages. You can download the new version from your Account area on cfwebstore.com. Version 6.30 Released! May 23, 2008 The latest update to version 6 has been released. This release corrects any known issues and includes a variety of feature improvements, some new options for customizing sites, update WSIWYG editor, etc. Be sure to read the changes.txt file for the list of changes including some minor database adjustments you may wish to make to your store and other changes.
