Just a quickie tip for today that may save you a little hassle in the future. Whenever I create a new webstore, the first thing I do after filling out the settings in the config.cfm file and making sure they all work properly is to save a backup of the file on the site (config.bak). This ensures that if I ever accidentally overwrite the file in the process of doing a upgrade, I can immediately replace it from the backup file that is right there. This is of particular important if you are uploading files from a development copy and the config.cfm file is different for development versus production (as it typically is). Of course, you also should keep backups of all files that you've modified, but generally other files will always be the same for your development and production copies so backups can be easily maintained by typical methods and source control.
